类别(日记) | 评论(2) | 阅读(51) | 发表于 10:27: 早上收到的一封邮件让我更大程度上认识到了自由的重要和争取自由的道路艰难曲折. 事情是这样的: 为了将我们做的产品的管理工具(Java写的)制作成安装包方便发布, 在经过试用和比较后决定选用InstallAnywhere, 于是乎花了700$买了一个Standard Edition的license. 做安装包, 测试, 都还挺顺利的. 后来发现了一些问题, 昨天我就写信给InstallAnywhere的support team问了两个问题, 结果早上收到的回复把我气够呛. 引用如下:

"Support has forwarded me your email, you would need to purchase a support/maintenance plan to get these questions answered. The cost for the Standard Edition is $700.00 for 1 year.

Please let me know if you would like to purchase this."

花了700$买了还不算, 问个问题又要700$, tnnd! 正如Stallman描述的那样, 你接受了这样不平等的license就意味着你不能帮助你的邻居. 是的, 分享才是最美好的! 感谢自由世界的缔造者! 感谢将我引入自由世界的人们!; 0
